I’m Manohar Kuse — a roboticist by profession, a designer at heart, and an avid water sports enthusiast. With a PhD in Robotics and years of experience in engineering and computer vision, I’ve always loved solving complex problems and turning ideas into reality. Outside the lab, my passion for the water has taken me canoeing, kayaking, and sailing across different parts of the world. I’m also a certified RYA Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper, experiences that have deepened my respect for boats, design, and the joy of being on the water.

At Kuse Boatworks, we carry that same spirit into every canoe we build. Our workshop in Vasai is fully equipped to take a design from concept to reality. Each canoe begins with a CAD model, is precision-cut on CNC machines, and then brought to life with fiberglass moulding using top-quality resins. This process ensures accuracy, durability, and elegance in every boat we produce.

My philosophy is clear: no jugaad, no shortcuts. I believe in staying lean, focusing on quality, and always doing the right thing. From design to CNC cutting to resin layup, every step is proudly Made in India — proof that world-class boats can be built here with the same precision and pride that drive my work as an engineer.
